Refund policy
1. Returns of Products
a) Returns must be initiated within 7 days from the delivery date. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we can't offer you a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, the product must be in the same condition that you received and in the original packaging. All returned products must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.
b) Products may be returned within 7 days of receipt if they are defective, damaged, or not as described.
c) Returns must be in original packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase.
d) Items returned due to change of mind may be subject to inspection and restocking fees, provided they are unused and in resale condition.
e) We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
f) Please repackage the product securely in its original packaging and kindly include proof of purchase. To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team with your order number and reason for the return at info@tayobscientific.co.za. We will provide you with instructions on how to proceed. We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not.
g) Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs when returning product/s.
2. Refund Process
a) Upon receiving your return, we will inspect the product to ensure it matches the condition in which it was originally sent.
b) Refunds apply to the product purchase price only. Following a satisfactory inspection, we will process your refund less shipping cost and a handling fee of 15%.
c) Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 7 days of receiving the returned product. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Customers may choose between a refund, a credit, or replacement product.
3. Incorrect or Defective Products
a) If you receive a product that is defective or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your delivery to arrange for a return, refund or exchange. In such cases, we will cover the return shipping costs.
4. Non-Returnable Products
a) Only regular priced items may be refunded. Products that are on sale at the time of purchase are exempt from being returned and refunded.
b) We do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases or custom products order. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific product/s.
