Specific Gravity Hydrometer
A hydrometer is a laboratory and industrial instrument used to measure the specific gravity or relative density of liquids that are heavier than water. Depending on how the manufacturer prints the scale, these values are sometimes written as decimals e.g. (1.000 to 1.300) or as whole numbers e.g. (1000 to 1300).
